How to launch a book

Here is the continuing saga of our book launch for The Brighter Marketing Bible. We now have an official launch date of 10th February and putting all our efforts into making the book become a best seller on Amazon.

1.We have been in contact with our publishers, Lean Marketing Press and they have given us some great advice on the best way to launch the book. As a result we have decided to include a prize draw for people who buy the book on the 10th February and download the bonuses we are giving away. The prize will be a Marketing Workshop valued at £1,195 for lucky winner and will give them a whole days consultancy from Siobhan and I to give their marketing a kick start.

2. We now have over 50 colleagues to help us on the launch day who will be sending out emails to all their contacts about the book and the bonuses available.

3. We now have ten bonuses, to give away on the launch day including a Power Branding ebook from Bookshaker to a Beginners Guide to Social Media from web company Octane. We have some really good extra information that will help businesses and provide some extra value on top of the book.

4. The download page for the bonuses is now built and is really simple, all that people have to do is enter their Amazon order number, their email and the password given in the promotional email and they will get instant access to all the bonuses.

5. Gill Alexander our PR consultant is busy talking to the press and we had some photography done with us and the books last week which will add the final touches to our press campaign. The release is due to go out in the next week or so to coincide with the launch and we are hoping to get both local and national coverage.

6. We have been going social media crazy as well, to promote the book - using Facebook, LinkedIn, Ecademy, Amazon profiles, Amazon Connect, posting articles on an E-zine site, and generally trying to create as much of a buzz about the book as possible. However, due to time constraints and the fact that we have had to look after our clients we haven’t had the time to post a regular video diary about the launch, as we promised in one of our earlier posts. However, we are thinking of running a launch day video so watch this space. 

7. We now have a dedicated web page for the book www.thebrightermarketingbible.com where you can find out more about the book and should help us with search engine rankings.

8. In short we are doing as many low cost and no cost but effective marketing activities to get the book launched and in the hands of as many people as possible.
